Gear Cutting and Splining

A range of gear cut and splined forms can be produced using CNC Pfauter PSA 150 gear cutting centres and conventional broaching machines. Handling bar diameters up to 3", internal & external spline forms are produced, with the multi-axis ability to produce tapers, crowned & baralled forms.

A variety of materials can be cut from titanium and hard metals to softer materials such as brass and aluminium alloys. Working in partnerhsip with tooling suppliers has enabled us to understand the best feeds and speeds for each material and deliver optimum cycle times for our customers.
